What is a Techie?  Is it like a Trekkie?

A techie is not a Trekkie. A techie is crucial part to any organization.  The Journey is no different.  We understand the nature of our modern lives and want to use it to our advantage.  Technology shouldn't be everything but it sure can help make everything more interesting and captivating.

Techies love having long important names.  So we have given them long over used names.  But be sure that just be cause this ministry has long names does not mean that they don't do both small tasks and large tasks.  Techies understand that what they do may not be the most obvious parts of a successful organization, but they know it is an absolutley needed area.  We value the gifts of techies at The Journey.
So if you are one of those people...Yeah those sometimes seen as strange but love technology people, then come and join this group at The Journey!

Computer Operator

There are a variety of activities that happen at The Journey throughout a normal week.  At several of those events we need people who are able to give their time to operating computer software.  If you don't know the software, we'll teach you!

Webcast Master

Each week The Journey provides its service via the internet.  We love having the opportunity to share what we enjoy on Sunday mornings with the entire world wide web!  So if you are someone who is able to give a little time and a couple of finger clicks we can use you.

Sound Technicians

So you have what people call a "good hear".  Well, good cause there are a lot of people, who will remain nameless, who don't.  Just give a little time and as if in some old story "lend us your ears"... Not literally... j/k

Video Producers

So you say you want to be in a video!  The Journey believes that using technology on a weekly basis is crucial to meeting people in this generation.  One way we do that is through the use of videos that enhance Sunday mornings messages.  People can be used in tons of ways for our videos (actors, camera operators, editors).  Get up and get on track with the producers.

Advertising Representatives

This position incorporates all the fun of designing and brainstorming advertising for The Journey.  This ranges from TV and radio ads to billboards and business cards.  Put your creative juices, not fruit juices, to work as a Journey Advertising Rep!
