Kids/Youth Ministries
The Journey believes that children and youth are important for two reasons. Obviously the children are our future...that reminds me of a song, nevermind. Secondly, it is important for parents to feel that their children are taken care of in an equally comfortable and safe environment. We want The Journey to be a place where parents don't need to worry about their children. The Journey has several opportunities for you to connect with children: Sunday mornings at Sunday school and nurseries, or Wednesdays and The Journey's Youth Group "The Journey Underground." Ask yourself how important older role models were in your own life and you will find the answer to how important kid/youth ministries are! Luke 18:16 (NLT)"Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. "
| Sunday SchoolWe offer programs for children during our Sunday morning meetings. These programs are designed to allow our kids to Love God and Love People!
Sunday Morning NurseryThe Sunday nursery is provided for those children that are too young for a "big kid" program. We love to provide parents with a safe and comfortable atmosphere for them to leave thier children while they enjoy The Journey's Sunday morning program.
The Journey UndergroundThe Underground is The Journey's youth program focused on middle and high school aged students. The Journey wants to not only provide adults opportunities to grow closer to God and others but also young people in our community. Let's face it, being an adolescent is hard, lets help 'em out!
