I live about 7 miles outside of Aberdeen. On my daily commute into town I drive through my neighborhood. (No this is not a crazy neighbor story) In one of the lots there's a tree line. Of the maybe twenty trees, six of them have been under water and subsequently have died. For a long time I just drove by them. I was kinda sad when I looked at them. They were just at the end of the treeline, they weren't green they were brown. Dead evergreens aren't very pretty, and ironically not very green. Ha, never mind. This cycle continued on for a while, I would drive by look at the treeline and almost look past the green trees and only see the dead brown ones. It was getting to me. The true irony was that my life was getting pretty brown as well.
